frequently asked questions

The many benefits of window film include eye comfort, UV Heat Rejection/Protection, aesthetics, increased safety, and privacy.

We recommend that you leave your vehicle windows rolled up for at least 2-3 days after window film has been installed. This allows the film to cure and adhere to the glass before the window is moved.
The moisture that remains between the film and the glass after installation can cause a hazy, blotchy appearance. It takes several days for the adhesive/film to completely cure. The remaining moisture will evaporate through the film. When the water evaporates completely, your windows should have excellent clarity.
The amount of time varies, depending on your type of vehicle. A complete car can take 2 to 4 hours. A set of front door roll ups usually only take less than an hour. If old aftermarket film has to be removed, that can add some extra time to the project.

Yes. Ultraviolet rays are the main cause of both fade and deterioration. Window films can screen out 99% of the damaging UV rays that can fade richly colored interior. Heat and light also play a part in fading, but using window film to block nearly 100% of UV rays will increase the life of your personal property for years.

Paint Protection Film keeps your vehicle looking new, protects vulnerable areas against chips, scratches, stains and elements. Exceptional clarity helps maintain color and brilliance of the vehicle paint with features of self-healing technology. PPF provides exceptional stain, weather and abrasion resistance, helping to preserve the car’s showroom quality finish for years.

For most PPF projects, we will need your vehicle anywhere from 2-5 full days. Within this time, we will be able to prepare your vehicle and apply the PPF. After installation the film needs time to settle and cure in a clean indoor environment.

No. Paint Protection Film is extremely clear and you will not notice a difference between the two panels.

Yes. Our Paint Protection Film is fully self healing. This film cures with heat from the sunshine, heat gun or hot water.
